2019 is moving fast!! We now have the September Lynda Randle concert tickets distributed to the Faith Mission and other Christian bookshops. Last month we featured the main artist at the September concert, Lynda Randle. This month we want to introduce you to one of the supporting artists appearing with Lynda at the Ballymena concert. Solid Ground are one of our home grown Gospel groups. They are out and about nearly every weekend ministering all over Northern Ireland.
Solid Ground were first established in 2003 as a group of like-minded believers who shared their love for Southern Gospel music, vocal harmonies and ultimately a love for their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As the years went by, opportunities to sing extended from various churches and Solid Ground began to minister throughout Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, England and Scotland and in more recent times, the USA. In late 2018 the current lime up released their debut album “Journey of a Lifetime”. A unique experience for Solid Ground as the project was recorded, designed and produced in the USA.
The current line-up for Solid Ground is comprised of Stephen Irons, Philip Boles and Andrew Graham. All men have a deep love for the southern gospel, harmony driven, genre of music that heavily influences their sound. Underlining all their musical passions is a deep love for their Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. Solid Ground enjoy presenting the Gospel message through song and proclaiming the simple message that it contains, “that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
