Wow !! What a weekend we had with Lynda Randle, Joey Gore and Lester Estelle and how we were all so blessed by their ministry in music and song. If you were unable to be at any of Lynda’s Concerts, you really did miss such a sweet time of praise and worship.

We wanted to share some of the highlights of their visit.

Lynda and her party flew into Belfast on Wednesday night and after the usual airport welcome, we headed to a restaurant in Belfast city centre near to their hotel. Team Randle had been travelling for most of the day. After a good nights rest we took the party to Parliament Buildings, Stormont for a tour and light lunch before heading to Mount Stewart. The staff in Mount Stewart House were so kind in giving us a personal tour of the beautiful home of Londonderry family. The highlight of which was when Joey Gore was given the honour of playing the grand piano which is almost 200 years old. We were all spellbound, along with other visitors. The guide commented on how lovely it was to hear the house come alive again with the sound of music.

Lynda and her husband Michael shared a meal at Clandeboye Lodge with the team. Our new hosts at NSC, Joseph and Sandra Kennoway, and David Gordon from Downtown Radio also joined us.

Friday saw the preparations we had made for the concerts swing into operation with stage and sound team, under the management of Robert Andrews, descend on the Armagh City Hotel from early morning to have the set up all done ready for the concert that night. After lunch we were joined by the sound and technical team from Whitewell Church to complete the set up for the choir taking part later that night.

We welcomed a large audience at Armagh when the doors opened. The Whitewell choir opened the evening. This was their firsttime out ‘on the road’.

Colet Selwyn from Scotland was next. His lovely bass voice went down a storm! Then it was time for our main guest, Lynda Randle.

Following the interval, Lynda ministered to us in song and led the finale with all the singers and choir. Joseph also shared a challenging message from God’s Word.

Saturday morning saw the set up crew head for Wellington Presbyterian Church, Ballymena to get ready for the concert later that night. Kathryn Mitchell from Armagh, opened to a nearlyfull church, followed by Solid Ground gospel group. They took the opportunity to ask Colet Selwyn to join them for a song -what a treat.

There was a special surprise in store for concert goers -the award winning Broughshane Pipe Band, who completed the night accompanying everyone singing Amazing Grace.

The team at NSC wish to thank everyone who came to the concerts. We do it for God’s Glory and to be of some encouragement to fellow believers as well as a testimony to those who don’t yet know the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour.

Thank you to all who have taken the time to share how they were blessed by the ministry of song in the concerts. It makes all the planning and months of hard work worthwhile.

Preparations are already underway for our September 2020 Concert with Jeff and Sherie Easter and if you haven’t heard them sing , then look them up on YouTube and have a listen. We know they are going to be very popular with audiences in Northern Ireland with the amount of interest already shown.

The next NSC concert is on 9 November in Parliament Buildings. It will be a really special night and as it has a limited capacity, so please don’t leave it until the last minute to get your tickets as we are already over 50% sold with only a few weeks to go.

Praise the Lord. For it is good to sing praises to our God.Psalm 147:1
